We Uphold The Word of God As The Standard

...but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. - 1 Timothy 3:15

We read in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 that ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God (Meaning God breathed) and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.(NKJV) So not only is the scripture inspired of God, but as the Lord is perfect, so is His word, and so we live off of EVERY word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). So even though the world around us changes, the word of God will never Change (1 Peter 1:24-25) And so in His word, and only in His word, can we find comfort. (Proverbs 30:5; Galatians 1:6-10) So we seek a “Thus says the Lord” for all that we do individually and as a congregation of God’s children.

We Want To Help

We are a group of Christians striving to live godly in the world (Titus 2:11-13) As we also see in 1 Peter 1:16 we have the command to be holy as the Lord is holy. Now this is not to say that we are perfect but rather we are striving for perfection. We strive to be a christian as is defined in the greek word as being Christ like, of being like Christ. So as Christ was perfect in all points (Hebrews 4:15) so we strive to do the same.
